Replin to launch new collection at Railway Interiors Expo

Replin Fabrics, which is based in Scotland, will launch a new collection of high specification fabrics to designers, operators, seat makers and carriage builders at Railway Interiors Expo in November.

Named after iconic Scottish railway stations such as Lochalsh, Mallaig and Waverly, the fabrics, which are 92% wool based, meet the highest specifications in fire resistance, smoke emissions and toxicity.

Founded over 60 years ago, Replin Fabrics are suppliers of choice to many rail companies and organisations throughout the world. Their products are used in a variety of applications in the rail industry including seating, curtain and wall fabrics. Recent projects include Russian Rail, Heathrow Express Refurbishment and Irish Inter-City.

In addition to the new collection the company will also launch a new website and product specifier designed to assist designers in choosing the most appropriate fabric for seating wall and curtain applications.

Hamish Campbell, business development director, Replin said:
“Our new rail collection for seating is a world-leading product with Class Zero accreditation for all UK underground rail applications. The rail industry’s stringent requirements mean that our wall and seating products and textiles are technically and aesthetically excellent and extremely safe as well as attractive and hard wearing.”
